Hey Dianna, I did the MDR1 DNA test on Foster just for futures sake. Collies, shepherds and aussies typically test positive. Fosters test results are negative and I thought I'd send it to you for the records on your dogs too (meaning they are probably neg. too as it is genetic). I'm sure you've heard of it but, dogs that test positive can't handle higher amounts of ivermectin (in heartworm meds/dewormers), certain sedation drugs and pain meds. So this is really good news. If you send me your email, Ill send the results to you. Hope everything's going well.
Well, I'm certainly getting a lot of good publicity for your Aussies. I'm sending people who are interested to your site here to contact you. ( I wasn't sure if you wanted me to hand out your number). You should create a website for them because people are certainly looking for them. Foster is doing great, he's starting his puppy training and I'm already getting him started on his agility training.
I work 4-10 hour days at the health department, so I couldn't make it Wednesday, thanks for the invite though! I'm off on Fridays and the weekends. I don't like riding by myself either. I used to not mind when I was younger, but I don't have the confidence I used to! So I like having somebody there with me to be a witness, lol!
