Is anyone interested in a 16 h TB Mare 15 yrs old (FB Gray)? Bella has been used as a lesson horse at my stable for the past two years. She is sound to ride - but not sound to jump. The beginner adult riders LOVE her, but she is too big for the beginner kids. She prefers adults and is very sweet. She does not spook on trails, gets along great with other horses, and is very people oriented. Bella is FREE to a responsible horse person.

We use her in my schooling shows here in equitation and she has done intro and training level dressage work. She was 2nd place at the last dressage show for intro level. She can leg yeild, turn on the forehand, rein back, but her canter transitions are rough right now. I have been using her for walk/trot so she is rusty at canter work.

hi, i am looking for a low lvl equitation or dressage horse do you think that maybe she would do ok with that? I'm not looking to jump her at all just things on the Flat also i'm not looking to show that often just some of the smaller shows in the summer.

She has a lofty gait and not at all SCOPEY. She doesn't jump well - even after months of caveletti, low grids, and crossrails. She would make a great walk/trot lesson horse for adults OR a trail horse. She would be fine in lead line or closely supervised arena work. I wouldn't suggest her for beginner youth unsupervised. The farrier took her shoes off yesterday and she is uncomfortable. You can take her on a trial but I wouldn't ride her for a week to let her harden up a bit. She has a scar on her back right that she has had most her life. You are welcome to come and see what you think.
